Four More People Arrested for Meth in Mendota Virginia

December 16, 2011: Additional charges have been placed against four individuals as the result of a methamphetamine lab that was seized on November 30, 2011, at a residence at 14222 Robinette Gap Road, Mendota, Virginia.

According to Washington County Sheriff Fred Newman, a consent search was conducted at the residence and a "shake and bake" lab was discovered.

Eddie Dean Allison, age 33, of 468 Green Springs Road Abingdon, VA, has been arrested and charged with:

1. Principal in the second degree to manufacturing methamphetamine; and
2. Conspire to manufacture methamphetamine.

Allison is being held without bond in the Abingdon Facility of the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail. A court date is scheduled for December 19, 2011, in the Washington County General District Court.

Amber Ruth Rasnick, age 25, of 14222 Robinette Gap Road, Mendota, VA, has been arrested and charged with:

1. Principal in the second degree to manufacturing methamphetamine; and
2. Conspire to manufacture methamphetamine.

Rasnick is currently being held on an additional $2,000.00 bond at the Abingdon Facility of the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail. She is also scheduled to appear in Washington County General District Court on December 19, 2011.

Christine Lynn Coleman, age 30, of 468 Green Springs Road, Abingdon, VA, has been arrested and charged with:

1. Principal in the second degree to manufacturing methamphetamine; and
2. Conspire to manufacture methamphetamine.

Coleman is being held in the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail in Abingdon without bond. She is scheduled to appear in court on December 19, 2011.

Steve Allen Vestal, age 36, of 924 Columbia Road Apartment #B, Bristol, TN, has been arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine in Bristol, TN. He is currently being held on a $100,000 bond in the Sullivan County Jail, in Blountville, TN.

In addition to the Tennessee charges, Vestal is awaiting extradition back to Washington County, VA on multiple drug charges.
