Sullivan County TN has infected Madison County TN! This county is just as bad, and the NUMBER TWO CRIME AREA IN THE NATION! Number ONE in the DIVORCE RATE, NUMBER ONE IN BANKRUPTCIES! There's a church on every corner, every adult type of business is soon closed, for many reasons. There is a group of religious bigots here who have been to SULIVAN COUNTY many times for ammunition! Seems there is *classic* lazy fundamentalism in Sullivan county. The locals decry the pre reformation Church (which of course was the catholic church)! In this modern day -and- age when so much correct information is available for them to study -and- learn for themselves, they are content to be brainwashed by their leaders. The catholic church is the oldest, largest, continous entity on earth!!!! What a triumph for Christ she truly is !!!! Think about it, if the catholic Church were anything less then it is, satan would have won out. Be thankful for the catholic church her existance saves all of mankind from instantaneous damnation !!! |

A friend just told me about this site. It is very good. I feel that every one should have the freedom to choose whatever religion one wants. It does seem that many Christian people in this area try to push their ideas on others. There seem to be three types of Christians is this areaa. They are those who are mentally or physically sick, those who are following the traditions of parents, and those using christianity as a social status. Keep up the good work. Isabell Blanca |

Thanks for this site. You share many of my feelings. For 15 years, I listened to people like Pat Robinson. I was uneducated and feared nonchristians. Today, I realize that there is more to fear from those who try to force such views on others. Ever since Sept. 11, things have grown worse in Kingsport. The religious right is using the events of that day to promote fear. The mayor of the town declared it alright for the fire department to have a sign that reads, "Pray for America." Students at a high school felt it was alright to pray pubicaly. The town of Kingsport is cheering them on. This is evident in the Letter to the Editors section of Times News. Those of us that are of other religions or none at all are viewed as crazy. It has gotten so bad that I plan on moving after I get a degree. |

Well, Christians are so uneducated, and unknowledgable about the things that be! They'd rather be listening to some half baked preacher that knows little or nothing about science and take his word for anything, and those that hear are bound by the superstition that religion enslaves it's followers to. There are nearly NO church going, modern day Christians who know what is actually in the Bible! . . Is it really holy? Is it really what they think it is . . peace and love? I'm afraid not. Look at most Christians . . . the only happy Christians are those on a mind altering drug such as PROZAC! DAMN, any one can be happy with that stuff! (How about a hit Pat Robertson!) Now look at what the Bible tells us to do with our misbehaved children . . . do you know what it really says you are to do? Are you a LITERAL BIBLE BELIEVER? . . . . OK, get ready . . . go ask your preacher about it . . . it says to KILL THEM! It tells you how to kill them, who to get to help you kill |
