National Elite Use Race to Cover Greed, Class

by Lewis Loflin

The Bristol Herald Courier like the rest of the alleged press has run an endless trash Trump campaign trying to paint working class Americans as racists rejecting their views on immigration - we pay the cost while they profit.

Yet The New York Times ran an article how our leaders being almost 98% white play the race card on working white Americans. They are racists of the worst kind. This was a reaction to another hit piece by the Bristol Herald Courier submitted to the paper.

Re: What Trump voters are afraid of - what is the elite and this newspaper afraid of? Why virtually no letters, but daily doses of how many of us are racist, uneducated?

The New York Times just published a list of the most powerful people are nearly 100% white including leaders in industry, government, media, academia etc. There's little "blackening and browning" in their ranks.

The Democrats run a racial and racist pandering machine to defeat Bernie Sanders that's OK. When fired-replaced white IT workers at Disney and multitudes of other companies object to "immigrant" replacement workers they're tagged racist.

Why do the white elite at these newspapers and other institutions so revile lower income blue-collar and white workers? Why are we so expendable in this Progressive economic and social engineering nightmare? When we dare question it we're tagged as racists and xenophobes. Yet blacks can riot in the streets and criminal Hispanic gangs in the Shenandoah Valley get complete silence from the same people.

Mass immigration has destroyed American labor and is simply another form of crony capitalism, while liberals see it as a way to further engineer replacement voters based on race - thus they are racist. According to The New York Times 11/27/2011:

All pretense of trying to win a majority of the white working class has been effectively jettisoned in favor of cementing a center-left coalition made up, on the one hand, of voters who have gotten ahead on the basis of educational attainment - professors, artists, designers, editors, human resources managers, lawyers, librarians, social workers, teachers and therapists - and a second, substantial constituency of lower-income voters who are disproportionately African-American and Hispanic...

The same working-class is reviled by hostile Republicans and their Reaganomics religion. 51% of American workers now earn under $30,000 - 40% under $20,000. We have a 40% unemployment rate while reports state "Once Again Foreign-Born Jobs Are Up, U.S.-Born Jobs Down". That has created Trump.

Fifty-one percent of working Americans make less than $30,000 a year, new data from the Social Security Administration (SSA) shows.

That's $2,500 a month before taxes and just over the federal poverty level for a family of five. The new numbers come from the National Wage Index, which SSA updates each year based on reported wages subject to the federal income tax.

In 2014, half of working Americans reported an income at or below $28,851 (the median wage), and 51 percent reported an income of less than $30,000. Forty percent are making less than $20,000. The federal government considers a family of four living on an income of less than $24,250 to be impoverished...

The wage index doesn't take into account the eight million Americans who are unemployed, or the tens of millions of working age Americans who are not participating in the job market. Nearly 40 percent of Americans are not working, which is the lowest participation rate since 1977.

Unemployment rate has dropped from double-digits from the height of the 2008 recession to about 5 percent in the latest jobs report. But wages have remained largely stagnant.

Wages and share of income for the bottom 90 percent of American wage-earners declined over the past 40 years. The foreign-born population increased dramatically, according to the Congressional Research Service (CRS). Date 10/25/2016.

Foreign-born workers (anyone who is not a U.S. citizen at birth) gained an additional 14,000 jobs, while native-born workers lost 262,000 jobs, according to September BLS data. The number of working adults 16 and older fell by nearly 250,000.

The number of workers born in the U.S. holding jobs fell by nearly 700,000 in August, while the number of foreign-born holding jobs increased by more than 200,000. Date 10/02/2015.

Wages and share of income for the bottom 90 percent of American wage-earners declined over the past 40 years, as the foreign-born population increased dramatically, data requested by the Senate Judiciary Committee shows.

Since 1970, the foreign-born population of the U.S. increased 325 percent, the Congressional Research Service found, while wages for the bottom 90 percent of earners decreased by 8 percent and their share of income fell by 16 percent. Date 4/23/2015.
